Places to visit in North-Cyprus

SEPT. 2016 There it was, my reservation on the screen. I did it. I booked to Cyprus and will travel just alone with my 3-year old son. The moment I saw that reservation I felt scared but also ready for a new adventure. Was I really gonna travel a lot of hours with just a little boy next to me? What if he get sick or worse what if I get sick? And how will it be on the airplane? OMG, leave it. I will cancel. No I can do this! I have to do this. And so I did. And it was amazing. A trip that changed my life.

In the last 2 years I visited Cyprus a few times and I love it. I have a thing for small islands. In case you want to travel to Cyrus be aware that there are Nort-Cyprus and South-Cyprus. It's one of the rare countries that is divided into two.

North-Cyprus is less crowded and rawer then South-Cyprus. They talk Turkish and you pay with Lira. That makes it also cheaper to visit. Perfect if you want to travel but don't want to spend too much. I love to visit less crowded places, so I chose North-Cyprus and then the place Kyrenia (Girne). Kyrenia is a city with a sweet harbor and different ancient buildings to visit.

You see these flowers everywhere in Kyrenia and I am so in love with them

If you want a big and quite beach then the Alagadi Beach is your place to be

The view is amazing. It's also called the Turtle Beach because a lot of Turtles still come here to have their eggs.

Love to sit and be one with the see at Alagadi Beach

Bellapais Monastery in Kyrenia.

Love to hear from you. What's your favorite place you have been to?

Until next time my happy people. Much love, Ibtissam.
